Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) organizes a ' Giving' drive for the flood relief camp in Kerela

Manipal Academy of Higher Education( MAHE)
conducts a  'Giving' drive for the victims of the floods in Kerela. All the essentials contributed by the students will be going directly to the flood relief camp for the people to consume it.

Kerela is one of the most beautiful state in India. It is known for it's diversity, scenic beauty and overwhelming environment. It is now facing severe crisis. It has been terribly affected by the flood which has led to the devastation of people's life and has crippled the state economy. We all have witnessed whenever and wherever there is an upheaval caused  by a natural disaster, entire world has joined hand in hand to empower the affected people. Keeping this in mind, students of all the college's under MAHE are contributing the essential to be sent to the flood relief camp in Kerela. All the students are voluntarily taking part in this moment by whatever they could and how much ever they can contribute.

What people in relief camp are waiting for is not a donation of money but for the basic essentials of life they are deprived of. Money is no more any value to them. Students are gathering the essential materials such as new clothes, new footwear's, toilataries, food items such as rice , sugar , dal , oil; etc.  The students here are showing great enthusiasm for such noble cause .

All the commodity collected will be going to  Wayanad through a truck from Manipal itself. We all should pray for the speedy recovery of the state and for the people stuck in those relief camp.

You too can also contribute for the victims who are waiting for some hope. Let's be a reason for someone's smiles. Who knows tomorrow we may find ourselves in their situation.

Through the video given below you can know how you can make a difference in their life.

The video depicts the devastation Kerala has faced and details of the Bank Account of Kerala Government where financial donations can be made.
